Square Unicode styles

These styles use Unicode symbols—filled and light squared letters (emoji blocks), alternating mixes, and regional indicator letters that look like paired flags on some systems.

Filled vs. light

Filled square uses negative squared letters (🅰-style). Light uses the complementary “parenthetical” set (🄰-style) for a thinner outline look.

Alternating pattern

Alternating applies filled on even character positions and light on odd positions—handy for a rhythmic, checkerboard effect.

Regional indicators

Regional indicator symbols map A–Z to two-letter flag sequences (🇦-style). Numbers use keycap emoji, same as the classic tool.

Copy and download

Each output has its own Copy and Download row. Filenames match the original generator (Square_Text_Generator_1.txt_4.txt).

Runs in your browser

All conversion happens locally in your browser; your text is not uploaded to our servers.

Square fonts reference table

Letter-by-letter mapping for Latin A–Z (upper and lower) across three column styles. Alternating combines the first two columns per position.

What is a square text generator?

A square text generator replaces ordinary Latin letters and digits with squared Unicode symbols—the same “bubble” or “negative squared” letters you see in emoji pickers. The result is plain text made of special characters, not a font style applied by an app.

Use filled (🅰), light (🄰), alternating filled/light, or regional indicators (🇦)—then copy any line or save it as .txt. Digits map to keycap emoji (0️⃣–9️⃣) like the original tool.

Rendering varies by platform: regional-indicator sequences may show as letter tiles or flags depending on the font and OS. Everything still runs locally in your browser.
